What:
Detectives assigned to the Arson/Auto Theft Unit are investigating a fire of a mobile home. One injury was reported. The fire does not appear to be suspicious in nature.

When:
The fire occurred at about 2:23 a.m. on January 30, 2015.

Where:
The fire occurred at 3663 58th Avenue North, Lot 416 at the Highland Mobile Home Park in unincorporated St. Petersburg.

Why/How:
According to investigators, the residents, 50 year old Laura Duncan and her boyfriend 50 year-old James Rauch were awoken to the fire. The two exited the mobile home. Duncan was transported to Bayfront Medical Center for treatment of non life-threatening injuries. Detectives say she suffered from smoke inhalation.

Lealman Fire Rescue responded. Detectives say the mobile home was fully engulfed and is a total loss. The two mobile homes on either side also sustained heat damage.

Detectives say at this time it appears the fire began in the living room area. The cause is still under investigation. The fire does not appear to be suspicious in nature.

The investigation continues.
