Deputies assigned to the Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) are investigating a two vehicle crash involving a deputy in Seminole.

The crash occurred on Saturday April 11, 2015 at 12:08 AM.

Where:
The crash occurred at the intersection of Park Boulevard North and Seminole Boulevard.

Why/How:
Deputies assigned to the Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) are investigating a two vehicle crash in Seminole involving a deputy. The crash occurred on Saturday April 11, 2015 at 12:08 AM at the intersection of Park Boulevard North and Seminole Boulevard. 

According to investigators, Deputy Matthew Ellis was travelling eastbound on Park Boulevard when he made a left turn into the path of a westbound vehicle; a 1962 Ford Thunderbird driven by Ryan Kogelmann. 

Ryan, Leslie, their 5 year old and their 12 year old child were transported to a local hospital by ambulance for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Deputy Ellis was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Alcohol and speed are not factors in the crash.

The investigation continues.
