What:
Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit have arrested a bank robbery suspect in unincorporated Largo. Two bystanders assisted with the apprehension of the suspect after he fled from the credit union.  

When:
The robbery occurred at approximately 12:46 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2015. The suspect was arrested a short time later.

Where:
The robbery occurred at the Grow Financial Federal Credit Union located at 10801 Starkey Road in unincorporated Largo.

Why/How:
Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit have arrested a bank robbery suspect.

According to detectives, the suspect entered the Grow Financial Federal Credit Union located at 10801 Starkey Road in unincorporated Largo at approximately 12:46 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2015.

Once inside the credit union, the suspect passed a note to the clerk, demanding money. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money and exited the bank.

As the suspect was fleeing, a bystander chased him down and escorted him back to the bank. When they arrived back to the credit union, another bystander, assisted the citizen in detaining the suspect until deputies arrived on scene. 

The suspect, identified as 32-year-old Michael Jon Neubecker, was arrested and charged with one count Unarmed Robbery.

Neubecker was transported to the Pinellas County Jail without further incident.
