How/Why:  
On Friday March 10, 2017 at approximately 1:57 p.m. deputies responded to an accidental shooting at Oldsmar AMC movie theatre located at 3128 Tampa Road, Oldsmar.

Deputies say a movie patron, Nathan A Schrage, went into the bathroom inside of the Oldsmar AMC movie theatre and placed his firearm from his concealed holster on the toilet paper dispenser. Deputies say Schrage attempted to place his firearm back into his holster when the firearm accidentally discharged causing injury to his left hand. Schrage does have a valid concealed carry permit. There was no one else reported to have been inside of the bathroom when the firearm discharged.

Schrage was transported to Tampa General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation continues.
