The suspect was arrested at his private residence located at 616 Grove Court Apartment C, Dunedin

Why/How:
Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit have arrested a Dunedin man for eleven counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

According to detectives, their investigation began on June 19, 2017, after receiving a tip that the suspect, identified as 57-year-old Richard Beal Anger was in possession of child pornography.

Through various investigative techniques, it was determined that Anger was intentionally downloading child pornography. Detectives obtained a residential search warrant and responded to 616 Grove Court Apartment C, Dunedin on Wednesday, August 16, 2017.

During their investigation, detectives recovered various images and videos that included sexual content and conduct by children. Anger admitted he is the sole resident at the residence, the sole password holder, and the sole owner of all the devices located within the residence.

Anger was arrested and charged with eleven counts of Possession of Child Pornography. He was transported to the Pinellas County Jail.
