Manz was found safe in Lee County, Florida, and he is being evaluated by medical professionals.

Manz’s family has been notified and the Silver Alert has been cancelled.

What:
A Silver Alert has been issued for 96-year-old Wilbert Joseph Manz, of Palm Harbor. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact local law enforcement immediately.

When:
The man was last seen at about 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, November 2, 2019.

Where:
The man was last seen leaving his residence, Coral Oaks Assisted Living Facility, located at 900 Westlake Road, Palm Harbor.

Why/How:
Deputies have issued a Silver Alert for 96-year-old Wilbert Joseph Manz, of Palm Harbor.

Deputies say on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at approximately 11:00 a.m., Manz left Coral Oaks Assisted Living Facility, located at 900 Westlake Road, Palm Harbor, in a gray 2015 Hyundai Sonata, Florida tag # JXBY51.

Manz’s final destination was not known and he has not returned to the facility.

Manz is described as a white male, approximately 6’02” tall, 150 lbs., thin build, gray hair, and wears glasses. His clothing is unknown.

Manz may suffer from memory issues and does not have a cellphone.

Manz has been entered into FCIC/NCIC as a missing endangered adult. A Silver Alert has been issued.

Anyone with information on Manz’s whereabouts is asked to contact local law enforcement immediately.
