Assistant Chief Deputy Sean Jowell has served with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office since 1989. He is in charge of the day-to-day operations of the agency, including support services, information technology, and judicial operations. During his tenure at the Sheriff’s Office, he has worked in various areas of the agency including Patrol, Training, Narcotics, Strategic Planning, Special Operations, and Support Services.

Assistant Chief Jowell stays actively involved with community charitable events and different leadership development programs within the state.  He is a board member for Leadership Pinellas and Ride and Run with the Stars.  He received his MPA through Troy University and is a graduate of the FDLE Senior Leadership Program and the 249th FBI National Academy.
