The Federal Communications Commission designated 511 as the single traffic information telephone number for use by states and local jurisidictions on July 21, 2000. Since then, many states and cities have implemented 511 traffic information services to benefit travelers, and eventually the single-number service should be available nationwide. The service is provided free of charge. |

Faced with a dramatic increase in the number of agencies and help-lines, people often don't know where to turn. In many cases, people end up going without these necessary services because they do not know where to start. 2-1-1 helps people find and give help. |

Sixth Judicial Court: As Florida's third largest trial court, the Sixth Judicial Circuit is recognized as one of the most efficient trial courts in the nation.
Sixty-nine judges hear cases in the Sixth Judicial Circuit. Forty-five circuit judges and twenty-four county judges are assigned to this circuit. The Sixth Judicial Circuit is comprised of Pasco and Pinellas Counties and is located on the Central West Coast of Florida.

Pinellas County Administrator: The County Administrator manages the business of county government. His job is to manage the day to day affairs of the county, and implement the policies and decisions of the Board of County Commissioners (BCC). |

Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners: The State constitution gives the Board of County Commissioners the power to adopt ordinances (local laws), approve the County budget and set millages, and establish the requirements for the departments under its control. The Board governs all unincorporated areas of the county directly; municipalities may call upon the County for specialized services. |

Florida Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles: Our mission is making highways safe through service, education, and enforcement. Our department members around the state are dedicated to accomplishing this mission. People get a driver license to operate their vehicles or for photo identification purposes. They register and title their automobiles, mobile homes, and boats. They may receive assistance from the Florida Highway Patro l if they are involved in a crash or their vehicle breaks down along Florida's highways. Often the Patrol will remind drivers to slow down and buckle up. |
