Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit are conducting a death investigation where man was found deceased outside his residence.

Deputies responded to the private residence in unincorporated Seminole at approximately  8:15 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11, 2015.

Where:
The incident occurred at a the victim’s home located at 8640 Flame Vine Avenue, in unincorporated Seminole.

Why/How:
Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 8640 Flame Vine Avenue in unincorporated Seminole, regarding reports of a deceased person.

According to detectives, 24-year-old Christopher Wayne Rotenberger was found on the ground outside his residence. When deputies arrived he was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Detectives have confirmed that Rotenberger died from unnatural causes.

Next of kin has been notified.

This continues to be an open and on-going investigation.
