What:
Deputies arrested two teenagers after they committed several vehicle burglaries in Seminole and fled from deputies in a stolen vehicle.

When:
The incident began at about 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2016.

The juveniles were arrested at about 5:15 a.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2016.

Where:
Deputies were originally dispatched to a residence located at 6991 Augusta Boulevard in Seminole.

The juveniles were arrested in the backyard of a residence located at 10702 95th Street in Largo.

Why/How:
According to deputies, they responded to 6991 Augusta Boulevard in Seminole, regarding reports of a suspicious vehicle and two suspicious male subjects going house to house checking vehicle door handles.

When deputies arrived, they observed a stolen black Infinity SUV from St. Petersburg traveling westbound on Walsingham Road near Starkey Road. The vehicle refused to stop and deputies were able to monitor the vehicle without initiating a vehicle pursuit.  When the vehicle approached the intersection of Belcher Road and Bryan Dairy Road, deputies deployed Stop Sticks and disabled the vehicle.  Both juveniles exited the vehicle and fled on foot near the intersection of Bryan Dairy Road and 109th Street.

A canine deputy responded and they established a track that led over a fence into a residential area.  The K-9 led deputies to the backyard of a residence located at 10702 95th Street in Largo, where 14-year-old Mitheron Williams and 13-year-old Nolvin Williams were found hiding.

Deputies found numerous stolen purses and key fobs inside the stolen SUV.  Detectives confirmed the stolen items were linked to the burglaries in the Seminole neighborhood.

Deputies determined that Nolvin Williams was already being monitored by the Habitual Offender Monitoring Enforcement (H.O.M.E.) program aimed at reducing teen crime.

Both juveniles were transported to the Pinellas Juvenile Assessment Center without incident.

Mitheron Williams was charged with five Counts of Burglary to an Unoccupied Conveyance, one Count of Burglary into an Occupied Dwelling, and one Count of Grand Theft of Motor Vehicle.

Nolvin Williams was charged with five Counts of Burglary to an Unoccupied Conveyance, one Count of Fleeing and Eluding, one Count of Burglary into an Occupied Dwelling, one Count of Grand Theft of Motor Vehicle, and one Count of Violation of Probation.

No injuries were reported.

The investigation continues.
