What:
Pinellas detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred after a verbal argument between two men in unincorporated St. Petersburg.

When:
The shooting incident occurred at about 2:14 a.m. on Sunday, September 25, 2016.

Where:
The shooting occurred outside the 4 Play Gentlemen’s Lounge located at 10387 Gandy Boulevard in unincorporated St. Petersburg.

Why/How:
Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the WaWa gas station located at 3301 Gandy Boulevard in unincorporated St. Petersburg in the early morning on Sunday, September 25, 2016, regarding reports of a person with multiple gunshot wounds.

According to detectives, the victim Tyler McNett, had an argument before the shooting occurred at approximately 2:14 a.m. outside the 4 Play Gentlemen’s Lounge located at 10387 Gandy Boulevard in St. Petersburg. McNett sustained injuries to his chest and left leg and was then driven by an acquaintance to the WaWa. He was treated on-scene and transported to a local hospital for life-threatening injuries.

Detectives say that video surveillance showed the altercation that morning outside the club and also the suspect-at-large Tony Thongdeng, with a black revolver pointed at the victim.

A warrant for Attempted 2nd Degree Murder and Felon in Possession of Firearm has been issued for Thongdeng. He also has a current active warrant for Violation of Career Offender Registration. Thongdeng is an Asian male and described as 5’7’’, weighs about 175 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He is considered armed and dangerous.
