What:
Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Persons Unit have arrested an employee of an assisted living facility in unincorporated St. Petersburg, after she video recorded two adult residents having sexual relations without their knowledge, and posted the video on social media.

When:
The crimes occurred on Monday, August 1, 2016.

The suspect was arrested on Wednesday, March 22, 2017.

Where:
The incident occurred at the Bristol Court Assisted Living Facility located at 3479 54^th Avenue North in unincorporated St. Petersburg.

Why/How:
Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Persons Unit have arrested an employee of an assisted living facility in unincorporated St. Petersburg, after she video recorded two adult residents having sexual relations without their knowledge, and posted the video on social media.

According to detectives, on August 5, 2016, deputies were called to the Bristol Court Assisted Living Facility, located at 3479 54^th Avenue North, in unincorporated St. Petersburg, regarding a report that an employee video recorded two adult residents having sexual relations at the facility.

Detectives say that an unidentified citizen saw the video on a social media website and contacted the Bristol Court Assisted Living Facility, informing staff of the sexually explicit video.

With the assistance of the staff at the assisted living facility, detectives identified the suspect as, 20-year-old Alexis Williams. Williams was employed as a medical assistant at the facility.

Through various investigative techniques, detectives determined that on August 1, 2016, Williams was working at the facility when she secretly recorded the victims, an 81-year-old female resident and a 59-year-old male resident, having consensual sexual relations in a private room at the assisted living facility. Williams then posted the explicit video on the social media website Snapchat.

Detectives say that the staff at the Bristol Court Assisted Living Facility took immediate administrative action and terminated Williams.

On March 22, 2017, detectives interviewed Williams at her residence located at 1720 54^th Terrace South, in St. Petersburg. Williams admitted to the allegations.

Williams was arrested and transported to the Pinellas County Jail without incident.

Williams was charged with one count of video voyeurism and one count of video voyeurism dissemination.

The investigation continues.
