Florida Association of Police Explorers

What:
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Explorer Post 900 recently participated in the 2018 Florida Association of Police Explorers (F.A.P.E.) Delegates Training.

When:
The training and competition took place from September 28-30, 2018.

Where:
The 2018 Florida Association of Police Explorers Delegate training was held in Seminole County, Florida. 

Why/How:
7 members of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Explorer Post# 900 participated in the Florida Association of Police Explorers (FAPE) in Seminole County, Florida. 

On Saturday, September 28th, the explorers participated in several training scenarios involving traffic stops, trespassing on school property, manufacturing and distribution of moonshine.

Explorers also had the opportunity to learn about leadership and followership and how to be a good leader in law enforcement. 

On Sunday, September 30th, Explorer Sergeant Justin Musick and Explorer Taylor Ford participated in the pistol competition at the Seminole County gun range.  Over 22 explorers participated in the shooting competition. 

We are very proud of the efforts of our members of Post 900 during this Delegate’s training.
