PINELLAS COUNTY – Due to continued high-water flooding after Hurricane Milton, deputies will be providing transportation in high-water vehicles to affected residents in the Tarpon Woods neighborhood near East Lake Road in Palm Harbor.
Anyone in the Tarpon Woods area who cannot leave or get to their homes due to flooding can contact the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office to request a ride. Residents picked up from their homes will be brought to the old Bank of America building (East Lake Road and Tarpon Woods Boulevard), 2551 Tarpon Woods Boulevard in Palm Harbor. This location will also serve as the meeting point for residents wishing to be brought back to their homes in the affected area.
This service will run from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. daily until the floodwater subsides.
