What:
Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating an attempted robbery suspect in Palm Harbor.

When: 
The attempted robbery occurred on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at approximately 9:05 p.m.

Where:
The attempted robbery occurred at the 7-eleven store located at 38593 US 19 North in Palm Harbor.

How/Why:
Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in located an attempted robbery suspect in Palm Harbor.

According to detectives, the suspect entered the 7-eleven store located at 38593 US 19 North in Palm Harbor on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at approximately 9:05 p.m.

Once inside the store the suspect grabbed a candy bar from the candy aisle then approached the counter to pay for the item. After making his purchase, he demanded the clerk give him money. Once the clerk refused, the suspect then made additional demands and threats to harm the clerk.

After the clerk told him to leave, the suspect left the store without any money and fled on foot, heading East.

The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5’1” tall, thin build, approximately 115 lbs. with short hair, possibly a buzz cut. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and navy blue jeans. He was observed to have a tattoo on his neck under his left ear.
