If you do not have an email address, please call 727-464-6032 to schedule an appointment. If you are a felon who needs to register, you do not need to make an appointment. Be advised, due to COVID-19, we have instituted new procedures: To enter the building YOU MUST WEAR A MASK. Please wait in the parking lot upon your arrival; an employee will call you, via cell phone, when we are ready to allow you entrance into the building for your appointment. Prior to entering the building, your temperature will be taken and your hands must be washed once inside. In order to provide the safest and healthiest experience possible, we will limit entrance to the public lobby to only the person named in the appointment, unless mobility, age, or special requests require otherwise. Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, AFIS Division is located at 4645 145th Avenue North, Clearwater, FL 33762, across from the Criminal Courts Complex in the Technical Services Building. We are off 49th Street on 145th Avenue North, which is between the south end of the Bayside Bridge and Ulmerton Road, and near Bayside High School, which is one block north of the traffic light at the Criminal Courts Complex. Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Closed from 12:30 PM- 1:30 PM This service is provided for $5.00 per inked print card and $10.00 for electronic printing (Please be advised - PCSO can only provide LiveScan (electronic) printing for concealed weapon licenses & name changes). We ONLY accept cash or checks. Individuals interested in having fingerprints taken, at the request of the potential employer, should bring with him/her the fingerprint card provided by the prospective employer. The card has coding on it to direct results back to that employer. The PCSO does not provide these cards. Do not sign this card in advance and be sure to use black ink when filling out the card. You will also need to bring a photo ID. The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office does not provide this service for immigration and naturalization purposes. You need to contact the Department of Immigration and Naturalization to find out where to get your fingerprints taken. The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office does provide electronic fingerprinting for concealed weapon licenses and name change applications for the Pinellas County Clerk of the Court. This service is provided for $10.00 by PCSO. More information will be provided regarding the additional fees payable to FDLE by credit card online when you have your fingerprints taken.
