Would you like the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office to come out to your school for this year’s Great American Teach-In (GATI)?

Experts from across the agency are available to appear. Some units are more limited than others, so please put your top two choices in the form below. The available units/presentations are:

  • Flight
  • Marine
  • Large Armored Vehicles
  • SWAT
     
Presentation
  • Personal Safety
  • Social Media Safety
  • Alcohol & Drug Awareness
  • Patrol Deputy
     
Specialty Presentations
  • K-9 Unit (limited to one hour presentation)
  • Forensics

In order to accommodate the high volume of requests, we ask that you limit your request to a two-hour window.

Please Note: Schools within our service area will be fulfilled first. Schools outside of our service area that fall within the jurisdiction of another local agency will be fulfilled based on availability.

GATI is on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. We will start to finalize participation in October, but will confirm that we’ve received your request within 1-2 business days of your initial submission. If your request is for a day other than 11/13/2024, please fill out a Speaker and Asset Requests Form.
