Members of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Explorer Post 900 recently hosted the 3^rd Annual Explorer Holiday Invitational Shoot.

Why/How:
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Explorer Post 900 hosted the 3^rd Annual Explorer Holiday Invitational Shoot on Sunday, December 28, 2014. The Holiday Invitational Shoot was held at the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office firearms facility.

Explorers from the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, Tampa Police Department, St. Petersburg Police Department and the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office participated in the event.

The event promoted a friendly firearms competition between explorers and their posts, and gave them an opportunity to share in each other’s company. The Tampa Police Explorer Team won the team competition. The Seminole Sheriff’s Explorer Team came in second place and the St. Petersburg Police Explorer Team took third place.

In the individual shoot, the top ten shooters were recognized as follows:

3^rd- Brendan Crace – Tampa Police Department
4^th- Brian Dalley – Tampa Police Department
5^th- Prestin Kremer – St. Petersburg Police Department
6^th- Victoria Rutenbeck – St. Petersburg Police Department
7^th- James Wilcher – Tampa Police Department
8^th- Malasia Jackson – Tampa Police Department
9^th- Alex Actis – St. Petersburg Police Department
10^th- Jaycen Flannagin – Seminole County Sheriff’s Office
