What:
Detectives assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a grand theft shoplifting suspect who stole from a retail store in John’s Pass.  

When: 
The theft occurred on Sunday, January 4, 2015 between 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Where:
The theft occurred at the Landing Company located at John’s Pass Village, 12949 Village Boulevard in Madeira Beach.

How/Why:
Detectives assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a grand theft shoplifting suspect who stole from a retail store in John’s Pass.

According to detectives, the suspect entered the Landing Company located at 12949 Village Boulevard between 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2015.  The suspect was observed walking around the store and looking at merchandise before removing a jewelry rack and placing it into her bag. The suspect was then observed leaving the store on foot.

The suspect is described as a black female with black wavy hair, in her 30’s. She was last seen wearing knee length shorts, a red and white shirt, sandals and a cross body purse. The suspect appeared to be hearing impaired and communicated to the store clerk only through sign language.
