Arrested for DUI, 3-counts DUI with Property Damage, 3-counts DUI with Bodily Injury, DUI with Serious Bodily Injury, DWLSR with Serious Bodily Injury, Grand Theft Auto, and a civil citation for driving on the wrong side of a divided highway.

What:
Deputies assigned to the Major Accident Investigation Team have arrested a woman in connection with a wrong way driving crash last month on St. Pete Beach. The crash involved three vehicles. (For further details on the crash see release #15-078.)

When:
The suspect was arrested on April 24, 2015.

The crash occurred on March 23, 2015.

Where:
The crash occurred on 72nd Avenue and Gulf Boulevard on St. Pete Beach.

Why/How:
MAIT investigators received blood toxicology reports that indicated the driver of the Toyota Corolla, 33-year-old Erica Hubbell registered a .286 BAC.

As a result of the investigation, deputies developed probable cause for her arrest. She was arrested in Kenneth City on April 24, 2015 on the above listed charges; and transported to the Pinellas County Jail without further incident.

According to deputies, Hubbell was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of Gulf Boulevard, when she collided head on with a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country driven by 64-year-old Joan Rouse; and side swiped a 2009 Chrysler 300 driven by 71-year-old James Eastman .

Hubbell had to be extricated from the vehicle and was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The drivers of both Chryslers were also transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
