What:
Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit have identified and arrested a suspect linked to a bank robbery in South Pasadena.

When:
The robbery occurred at about 4:58 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2015.
The suspect was arrested on Friday, May 8, 2015.

Where:
The robbery occurred at the Wells Fargo Bank located at 1101 Pasadena Avenue South in South Pasadena.

Why/How:
Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit have identified and arrested a suspect linked to a bank robbery in South Pasadena.

According to investigators, on Thursday, April 2, 2015, the suspect entered the bank, approached the teller, implied he had a weapon and demanded cash.

The teller complied with the demand and the suspect fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Through various investigative techniques the suspect was identified as 27-year-old Blake James Sharp.

Detectives met with Sharp on Friday, May 8, 2015 and he admitted to the allegations.

Sharp was arrested and charged with one count of Robbery. He was transported to the Pinellas County Jail without further incident.
