What:
Detectives assigned to the Sheriff’s Narcotics Division have executed a search warrant in a St. Petersburg home for a suspected meth lab. The investigation led to the arrest of three suspects for various charges to include the Manufacturing of Methamphetamine.

When:
The search warrant was executed at approximately 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2015.

Where:
The search warrant was executed at a residence in the King of the Road Mobile Home Park, located at 5701 Haines Road in unincorporated St. Petersburg.

Why/How:
Detectives assigned to the Sheriff’s Narcotics Division have executed a search warrant in a St. Petersburg home for a suspected meth lab.

According to detectives, the investigation began in March of 2015 after they received an anonymous tip that the suspects were manufacturing methamphetamines at a residence in the King of the Road mobile home park located at 5701 Haines Road, Lot 210 in unincorporated St. Petersburg.

Through various investigative techniques, detectives determined a meth lab was operating at this location and obtained a search warrant.

Narcotics detectives executed the search warrant on the residence at approximately 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2015.

Detectives arrested three individuals that have been identified as 30-year-old Christopher Shawn Matthews, 40-year-old Lottie Jean Cannon and 40-year-old Kip Aaron Gibson.

A victim child under the age of 16 was also found to be in the residence with Matthews and Cannon at the time the search warrant was executed.

Both Matthews and Cannon were charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine with a child younger than 16 present and Child Abuse.

Gibson was charged with violation of probation.

The three were transported to the Pinellas County Jail without incident.

Detectives have taken possession of multiple chemicals and equipment utilized in the manufacturing of methamphetamine.

The investigation continues.
