What:
Pinellas County detectives are seeking the public’s assistance to identify an armed robbery suspect who robbed a bank in Dunedin.

When:
The armed robbery occurred at approximately 1:46 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2015.

Where:
The armed robbery occurred at the Valley National Bank located at 1352 Main Street in Dunedin.

Why/How:
Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide unit are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an armed robbery suspect who robbed a bank in Dunedin.

According to detectives, the suspect entered the Valley National Bank located at 1352 Main Street in Dunedin at approximately 1:46 p.m. today. As the suspect walked toward the counter, he stated “This is a robbery,” implied he had a gun and demanded money from the teller.

The suspect then took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the area on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20’s, 5’7”-5‘8” tall and 160-170 lbs. The suspect was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, black shorts, a black cowboy hat, white ankle socks and black shoes.
