What:
Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating an armed robbery suspect who robbed a Clearwater food store.

When: 
The robbery occurred at approximately 12:56 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2015.

Where:
The robbery occurred at the JK Food Store located at 2468 Belleair Road in Clearwater.

How/Why:
Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating an armed robbery suspect who robbed a Clearwater food store.

According to detectives the suspect entered the JK Food Store located at 2468 Belleair Road in Clearwater at approximately 12:56 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2015.

Once inside the store, the suspect walked behind the counter and demanded money from the clerk. After taking an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled from the store on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male, late 20’s, 6’0” tall, 170 lbs. and a medium build. He was last seen wearing a green V-neck t-shirt, green/tan plaid shorts, sunglasses, a black bandana covering his face and a clear latex glove on his right hand. The suspect was also carrying a steak knife and a white plastic grocery bag.
