Detectives assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a grand theft suspect who stole lawn equipment from local business owner.
The theft occurred on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at approximately 10:05 a.m.
The theft occurred behind Pete’s New York Barber located at 1608 S. Belcher Road in Largo.
Detectives assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a grand theft suspect who stole from a local business owner.
According to detectives, on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at approximately 10:05 a.m., the victim was performing lawn maintenance work in front of Pete’s New York Barber located at 1608 S. Belcher Road in Largo.
During this time, the suspect was observed entering the parking lot behind the business and parking his vehicle next to the victim’s vehicle and trailer. The suspect then exits his vehicle, removes lawn equipment from the victim’s trailer and places them into the bed of his truck before fleeing the area.
The suspect is described as a white male, 30-40 years of age, 6’00” tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and what appears to be a black shirt with the “West Coast Choppers” logo on the back.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a 1997-2003 Ford F-150 extended cab truck, white in color, with a distinct fiberglass bed cover and steel running bar.
