Detectives assigned to the Special Victims Unit have arrested a St. Petersburg Beach man for Possession of Child Pornography.

When:
The suspect was arrested at about 10:24 a.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2016.

Where:
The suspect was arrested at his residence located at 4625 Mirabella Court in St. Petersburg Beach.

Why/How:
Detectives assigned to the Special Victims Unit have arrested a St. Petersburg Beach man for possession of child pornography.

According to detectives, their investigation began in March of 2015, after receiving information that the suspect, identified as 81-year-old Murray Stollman, was in possession of child pornography.

Through various investigative techniques, detectives were able to recover 10 images depicting child pornography from Stollman’s computer.

Detectives arrested Stollman at his residence and charged him with 10 counts of possession of child pornography.

Stollman was transported to the Pinellas County Jail without further incident.

The investigation continues.
