What:
Detectives assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a grand theft shoplifting suspect who attempted to steal $858.60 worth of groceries from a Palm Harbor Publix Supermarket. 

When: 
The attempted theft occurred on Monday, April 18, 2016 between 8:17 p.m. and 9:02 p.m.

Where:
The attempted theft occurred at the Publix Supermarket #497 located at 36301 East Lake Road in Palm Harbor.

How/Why:
Detectives assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a grand theft shoplifting suspect who attempted to steal from a Publix Supermarket. 

According to detectives, the suspect attempted to steal $858.60 worth of groceries at the Publix Supermarket located at 36301 East Lake Road in Palm Harbor, on Monday, April 18, 2016 between 8:17 p.m. and 9:02 p.m. Video surveillance captured the suspect leaving the store on foot and K-9 was unable to locate him. The grocery items were recovered.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 30 – 35 years old, 5’9” tall, with a red beard/mustache. He was last seen wearing tan dress pants, grey suit jacket, and a “Veteran” baseball cap. The suspect had been in the Palm Harbor Publix before.
