Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a bank robbery suspect who robbed a Jefferson Bank of Florida, in Palm Harbor. In this new surveillance video, the male suspect is shown dressed in a white shirt and dark pants at a nearby Walmart just prior to the robbery.

Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a bank robbery suspect who robbed a Jefferson Bank of Florida.

When: 
The robbery occurred at approximately 3:10 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2016.

Where:
The robbery occurred at the Jefferson Bank of Florida, located at 35320 U.S. Highway 19 N., in Palm Harbor.

How/Why:
Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a bank robbery suspect who robbed a Jefferson Bank of Florida, in Palm Harbor.

According to detectives, the suspect entered the Jefferson Bank of Florida, located at 35320 U.S. Highway 19 N., in Palm Harbor, at approximately 3:10 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2016.

Once inside the bank, the suspect displayed a black handgun and demanded cash. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect fled from the bank and was last seen traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 19, in a silver sedan.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 40 to 50-years-old, 5’10” to 5’11” tall, heavy build, 230 lbs. to 240 lbs., wearing a surgeons mask, white t-shirt, blue jeans, and a blue colored Tampa Bay Rays ball cap.
