Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit have arrested a Largo man for Possession of Child Pornography.

The suspect was arrested at about 7:20 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2016.

Where:
The suspect was arrested at his residence located at 6372 126^th Avenue, Lot 52, Largo, FL 33773.

Why/How:
Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit have arrested a Largo man for Possession of Child Pornography.

According to detectives, their investigation began in April 2016 after receiving information that the suspect, identified as sixty-nine year old John M. King, was in possession of child pornography.

Through various investigative techniques, detectives were able to recover six images depicting child pornography from electronic devices belonging to King.

Detectives arrested King and charged him with six counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

King was transported to the Pinellas County Jail without further incident.

The investigation continues.
