Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit have arrested a Seminole man for Possession of Child Pornography.

When:
The investigation began in July 2016.

The suspect was arrested at about 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2016.

Where:
The suspect was arrested at his residence located at 8950 Park Blvd #209, in Seminole.

Why/How:
Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit have arrested a Seminole man for Possession of Child Pornography.

According to detectives, their investigation began in July 2016 after receiving information that the suspect, identified as forty-nine year old Mark Branson, was in possession of child pornography.

Through various investigative techniques, detectives were able to recover more than 10 images depicting child pornography from electronic devices belonging to Branson.

Detectives arrested Branson and charged him with 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

Branson was transported to the Pinellas County Jail without further incident.

The investigation continues.
