Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri hosted a swearing in and a promotion ceremony on Friday, September 2, 2016, recognizing 17 new law enforcement deputy recruits and nine newly promoted Sheriff’s Office members.

The ceremony started with the Sheriff administering the oath of office to the new law enforcement recruits in front of family and friends.

Promotions followed as family members and friends pinned new badges on their fathers, mothers, sons and daughters, who have just been promoted.

The following Sheriff’s Office members have been promoted:

Promoted to Sergeant:

Mike Kilian
Jason Stibbard

Promoted to Lieutenant:
Randy Corlett
Michael Paniagua

Civilian Promotions:
Veronica Cruz – Assistant Inmate Records Supervisor
