What:
Detectives assigned to the Economic Crimes Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect believed to have used a stolen bank card in Largo.

When:
The incident occurred on October 3, 2016 between approximately 3:09 p.m. and 3:35 p.m.

Where:
The incident occurred at an ATM machine at Pinellas Federal Credit Union located 10273 Ulmerton Road in Largo.

Why/How:
Pinellas County Sheriff detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who used a stolen bank card to deposit fraudulent payroll checks and later withdrew the money from a local bank in  Largo.  The suspect also used the stolen bank card at several Publix locations in Largo and Spring Hill.

According to detectives, on October 3, 2016, the suspect was captured on surveillance video between approximately 3:09 p.m. and 3:35 p.m. at the ATM machine at Pinellas Federal Credit Union located 10273 Ulmerton Road in Largo.  The suspect can be seen making deposits and withdrawals.

The suspect is described as a dark complexion African American male, with chest-length dreadlocks. He was last seen wearing a red and black baseball cap with a logo near the bill of the cap.  A green t-shirt, light blue jeans with holes in them and black shoes.
