The suspect is described as a black male, with dark short afro hair, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, white tee shirt, dark colored pants and athletic shoes.

What:                               
Detectives assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit are seeking the public’s assistance identifying a grand theft suspect who stole $1,809 worth of merchandise.

When:
The grand theft occurred at about 4:00 p.m. on January 23, 2017.

Where:
The incident occurred at the Opti-Mart, located at 4539 35th Street N, in unincorporated St Petersburg. 

How/Why:
Detectives assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit are seeking the public’s assistance identifying a grand theft suspect who stole $1,809 worth of merchandise.

According to detectives, the suspect entered the store, picked up a display case containing 10 pairs of Costa Del Mar sunglasses, and walked out of the front door. Once outside the store, the suspect entered the passenger side of a small 4-door sedan, dark in color, unknown make and model, and left the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male, with a dark short afro hair, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, white tee shirt, dark colored pants and athletic shoes.
