DOB: 04/05/1971
Address: 103 14th Avenue North, Indian Rocks Beach
Charges: One count of Grand Theft.

At about 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday March 29, 2017, detectives arrested, 45-year-old Matthew Marceau, for the theft of merchandise and groceries from a Walmart in Seminole.

Patrol deputies helped to identify Marceau as the suspect.

Marceau was transported to the Pinellas County Jail without incident. He was charged with one count of Grand Theft.

Detectives Seek Public's Assistance in Identifying Grand Theft Suspect in Seminole

The suspect is described as a white male, 40 to 50 years old, with short brown/gray hair, and he appeared to have a medium complexion. The suspect was wearing a blue long-sleeve shirt with light blue jeans and dark sunglasses on top of his head.

What:                               
Detectives assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit are seeking the public’s assistance identifying a grand theft suspect who stole approximately $650 worth of household merchandise and groceries including, a large tote bucket, laundry detergent, snow crab, king crab, smoked salmon, various meats, and a closet organizer.

When:
The grand theft occurred at approximately 1:50 p.m. March 16, 2017.

Where:
The incident occurred at Walmart #1536, located at 10237 Bay Pines Blvd. in Seminole. 

How/Why:
Detectives assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit are seeking the public’s assistance identifying a grand theft suspect who stole approximately $650 worth of household merchandise and groceries including laundry detergent, a large tote bucket, snow crab, king crab, smoked salmon, various meats, and a closet organizer.

According to detectives, the suspect walked in the store, placed various items in his shopping cart, then made his way toward the front of the store.

Surveillance video shows the suspect walking past a closed cashier counter, pushing / skipping on one foot with the cart outside to an older model white pickup truck with raised sides that likely contain cargo boxes.

The suspect is described as a white male, 40 to 50 years old, with short brown/gray hair, and he appeared to have a medium complexion. The suspect was wearing a blue long-sleeve shirt with light blue jeans and wearing dark sunglasses on top of his head.
