Missing elderly man, Michael McCusker, has been located by authorities in Georgia. He is in good physical condition and he will be reunited with his family later today. The Silver Alert has been CANCELED.

Deputies seek the public’s help in locating a missing elderly man in Dunedin.

When:
The man has been missing since approximately 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2017.

Where:
The man was last seen by family members at his home at 601 Howell Court, Dunedin.

Why/How:
Deputies seek the public’s help in locating a missing elderly man in Dunedin.

According to deputies, 69-year-old Michael McCusker was last seen leaving his home located at 601 Howell Court, Dunedin on Thursday, August 3, 2017.

Michael told family members that he was leaving and made statements he would possibly harm himself, left his home and never returned.

Michael is described as a white male, 6’ 3” tall, approximately 150 lbs., with blue eyes and short gray hair with a receding hair line. Michael was last seen wearing blue jeans, a green sweater, and brown loafer shoes.   

Michael was last seen driving a bronze four door Saturn Auro, bearing a Florida tag# 169MSN.

Concerned family members say that Michael suffers from medical conditions and the early onset of dementia.  

Michael has been entered as missing into the FCIC/NCIC data base and a Silver Alert has been issued.

Anyone with information that may assist deputies in locating Michael McCusker is urged to call local law enforcement.
