Where:

Why/How:
According to investigators, 82-year-old David Hutman was driving his 2009 BMW 328i, southwest on Pasadena Avenue South approaching Shore Drive South, with a green traffic light.

Investigators say 81-year-old Martin Walsh was walking northwest, crossing Pasadena Avenue South at the intersection of Shore Drive South, in the marked crosswalk when he was struck by Hutman’s BMW.

Witnesses told investigators that Walsh darted out in front of the BMW while Hutman had a green traffic light.

Investigators do not believe speed or impairment were factors in the crash.

The investigation continues.
