What:
A Silver Alert has been issued for 79-year-old Ervan Callies, of Minnesota. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact local law enforcement immediately.

When:
The man was last seen at about 2:30 a.m., on Sunday, August 23, 2020.

Where:
The man was last seen leaving the Marriott Residence Inn, located at 4012 Tampa Road in Oldsmar.

Why/How:
Deputies have issued a Silver Alert for 79-year-old Ervan Callies, of Minnesota.

Deputies say on Sunday, August 23, 2020 around 2:30 a.m., Callies left his Marriott Residence Inn hotel room with his dog, where he was staying with family, located at 4012 Tampa Road in Oldsmar and drove away in their white 2016 Ford Explorer with Minnesota tag #048TET.

According to deputies, Callies has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and suffers memory issues.

Callies is described as a white male, approximately 5’11” tall, 180 lbs., with light gray hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black long sleeve shirt with blue jeans. Callies left with his black and white female cocker spaniel named Penny.

Callies is believed to have a cell phone, but it appears to be powered off or uncharged.

Callies has been entered into FCIC/NCIC as a missing endangered adult. A Silver Alert has been issued.

Anyone with information on Callies’ whereabouts is asked to contact local law enforcement immediately.
