Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit have arrested a man for Possession of Child Pornography.

When:
The suspect was arrested on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at approximately 6:15 p.m.

Where:
The suspect was arrested in his Marriott Hotel room located at 601 American Legion Drive, Madeira Beach.

Why/How:
Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit have arrested a man for Possession of Child Pornography.

According to detectives, they were contacted by the St. Petersburg Police Department with an anonymous tip that Lewis Greenman was in possession of child pornography in his hotel room.

Pinellas investigators met with Greenman at his hotel room and he admitted to being in possession of child pornography. Investigators discovered eight images of child pornography on his electronic devices which Greenman admitted were his.

Detectives reached probable cause for his arrest and took him into custody.

Greenman was transported to the Pinellas County Jail and charged with eight counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

The investigation continues.
