PINELLAS COUNTY – Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit have arrested 34-year-old Arthur Baker on 20 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

Detectives began their investigation after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), that child exploitation material was being uploaded from a social media application.

Through various investigative techniques, detectives identified Baker as the suspect and obtained a search warrant for his residence. Detectives served the search warrant on Thursday, April 22, 2021 and collected several computer-related items. Investigators discovered multiple videos of child pornography on Baker’s devices and an online conversation where he discussed the ages he preferred in the pornography.  

Baker was arrested on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 when he turned himself in at the Pinellas County Jail. He is being held on 20 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
