PINELLAS COUNTY – The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Annual National Night Out event will be held Tuesday, October 5, 2021 beginning at 6:00pm and ending at 8:00pm. The event will take place at two different locations: Edgewater Park located at 51 Main Street, Dunedin and SPC Seminole Campus located at 9200 113th Street North in Seminole.

National Night Out is an annual community-building event that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. This event strives to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement, while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

This event is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs and strengthen neighborhood spirit and police/community partnerships.

In attendance will be various vendors, neighborhood watch groups and Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office units. There will also be interactive family friendly activities, vehicle displays and public safety information booths.
