On May 30, 2024, Detectives added additional charges to Karl George III. Throughout the course of the investigation, detectives learned that in October of 2022, George sexually battered an unconscious adult female, and video recorded the incident.

George was charged with Sexual Battery (physically helpless) and Video Voyeurism and remains in the Pinellas County Jail.

Charges: Seven counts of Possession of Child Pornography, five counts of Transmission of Child Pornography, one count of Sexual Activity Involving Animals

PINELLAS COUNTY – Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit (CAC) have arrested a Palm Harbor man for possession of child pornography, transmission of child pornography, and sexual activity involving animals.

Detectives began their investigation after receiving information that child pornography was being accessed and stored via the internet. Through various investigative techniques, detectives identified the suspect as 29-year-old Karl George III.

According to detectives, the videos were of children between the ages of five and eleven years old. In addition to the child pornography, detectives located a video depicting a woman inserting a live snake into her vagina.

On May 16, 2024, detectives arrested George and charged him with seven counts of Possession of Child Pornography, five counts of Transmission of Child Pornography and one count of Sexual Activity Involving Animals. George was transported to the Pinellas County Jail.
